Return Timeframe
You may request a return within 30 days from the date your order is delivered. Requests submitted after this period may not be approved.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:
- The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- The item must be returned in its original packaging
- All original tags, labels, and accessories must be intact
- A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided
Items that fail to meet these criteria may be rejected and returned to the customer.
Items Not Eligible for Return
We cannot accept returns for the following:
- Items showing signs of wear, damage, washing, or misuse after delivery
- Items returned without original packaging, tags, or accessories
- Items returned outside the 30-day return window
Return Method and Fees
All approved returns must be sent by mail using the prepaid return label included with your order.
- Return shipping is free of charge
- No restocking or handling fees apply
- No additional costs are deducted from approved refunds
Return Procedure
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer support team with your order number and reason for return
- Wait for return approval and follow the instructions provided
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging
- Attach the prepaid return label and ship the package
Returns that are unauthorized or improperly packaged may be refused.
Exchanges
At this time, Closet Update does not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, size, or color, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order once your return has been approved.
Refund Processing
After your return is received and inspected:
- Refunds are processed within 7 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout
- A confirmation email will be sent once the refund has been initiated
Please note that financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
To assist with a quick resolution, include clear photos of:
- The item received
- The original packaging
- The shipping label
Based on the situation, we will provide a replacement or issue a full refund. If an order is marked as delivered but not received, we may coordinate with the shipping carrier to confirm delivery details.
Order Cancellation Policy
Orders may be canceled before 5:00 PM (EST) on the same day they are placed.
Once an order has been processed or shipped, cancellation is no longer possible and the order must follow the return process outlined above.
