The room feels more comfortable and useful. It gives everyone a place to sit without the room feeling packed.
Downstairs family room has a better balance. The size is the part I was most worried about, and it ended up being right. It also helped that the scale worked in our living room.
The living room looks more collected with this in place. The height works well visually with the rest of the room. The clean modern lines is subtle but noticeable in the best way.
Guests works better than expected. The finish has enough texture to keep it from looking flat. It works well in our TV room.
Family den looks cleaner from the doorway. The surface is easy enough to wipe down after normal use. The fabric feel feels right for the style of the room. The fabric feel is a small detail, but it helps in our front room.
Back pillows feel better than expected. Looks better after everything was arranged. The fabric feel gives it just enough character.
Our wide sectional shape feels comfortable without looking sloppy. The seating is useful for movies, guests, and slow weekends. I was mainly looking at comfort, but the clean modern lines ended up being my favorite detail.

Warm color and super cozy shape
shopWe put this sofa in our front living room and it instantly made the space feel more finished. The caramel brown color works really well with our wood floors and older rug. It’s soft but still supportive, and the rounded shape makes it feel more unique than a regular couch. This was just a quick phone photo, but the sofa looks very close to what we hoped for.

Finally found a table that doesn’t make our room feel crowded
shopWe have a pretty small living room, so I was worried this table might feel too big, but the oval shape actually works really well with our sectional. My husband set it up right after work and I took this photo before we even cleaned up the room properly. The top is easy to style, but what I like most is that the rounded edges make it easier to walk around, especially when the kids are running through here. The gold base also looks nicer in person than I expected — not too shiny, more of a soft brushed tone. Overall, it makes the room feel finished without feeling like a showroom.

A little dressier than our usual furniture
shopWe put this in the guest room of our older house, and it made the room feel much less plain without having to redo everything else. The shell pattern is subtle in person, but it catches the lamp light in a really pretty way. The dark top is a bit deeper brown than it looked online, which actually works well with our old oak floors. One drawer was a little stiff the first few days, but it has loosened up since.
