An eye-catching design in a simple design. The Jack and Jill Multi-Light Pendant from Marc Wood has an intriguing style and a contemporary aesthetic that will complement a variety of settings, regardless of the established motif. Its appearance was inspired by the look of 1930s jewelry, notably its sculptural design and repeating patterns. The frame is made out of hand-bent brass, which holds a series of pearl white crystal glass shades, diffusing the light into an even glow.

With the small dining space otherwise settled, ordinary use has made me appreciate this piece more than the first impression did. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days.

I was not sure the room needed another strong element, but this multi-light pendant ended up making the area feel calmer rather than busier. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. The room feels better for having it there.

The easiest way to describe the change is that the breakfast area simply feels done now. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase.

I almost picked something else for the small dining space, but this fixture made more sense once I lived with it.

THE REVIEWS

Testimonials

  • Warm color and super cozy shape

We put this sofa in our front living room and it instantly made the space feel more finished. The caramel brown color works really well with our wood floors and older rug. It’s soft but still supportive, and the rounded shape makes it feel more unique than a regular couch. This was just a quick phone photo, but the sofa looks very close to what we hoped for.

  • Finally found a table that doesn’t make our room feel crowded

We have a pretty small living room, so I was worried this table might feel too big, but the oval shape actually works really well with our sectional. My husband set it up right after work and I took this photo before we even cleaned up the room properly. The top is easy to style, but what I like most is that the rounded edges make it easier to walk around, especially when the kids are running through here. The gold base also looks nicer in person than I expected — not too shiny, more of a soft brushed tone. Overall, it makes the room feel finished without feeling like a showroom.

  • A little dressier than our usual furniture

We put this in the guest room of our older house, and it made the room feel much less plain without having to redo everything else. The shell pattern is subtle in person, but it catches the lamp light in a really pretty way. The dark top is a bit deeper brown than it looked online, which actually works well with our old oak floors. One drawer was a little stiff the first few days, but it has loosened up since.
