Give your living space a streamlined appearance with the Potence LED Wall Sconce by Vitra. This lamp was originally by designed by Jean Prouve in 1947. A slim backplate secures to your wall, providing the foundation for an ultra-slender frame of metal. The arm of this wall sconce bends acutely at the end to support an integrated LED. This led is neatly housed inside of a glass shade. Your wall sconce is composed of powder-coated tubular steel for durability.

Monday's rainy evening is when the everyday appeal of this wall sconce stands out most in the bedroom; the placement took one small rethink before everything felt balanced.

Morning on a quiet day showed me how much more balanced the bedroom feels with this wall sconce. I specifically wanted the LED version, so this stayed on my short list.

Dinner cleanup reminded me that this wall sconce works best when the bedroom is simply being lived in. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. It settled into the room more easily than I expected.

THE REVIEWS

Testimonials

  • Warm color and super cozy shape

We put this sofa in our front living room and it instantly made the space feel more finished. The caramel brown color works really well with our wood floors and older rug. It’s soft but still supportive, and the rounded shape makes it feel more unique than a regular couch. This was just a quick phone photo, but the sofa looks very close to what we hoped for.

  • Finally found a table that doesn’t make our room feel crowded

We have a pretty small living room, so I was worried this table might feel too big, but the oval shape actually works really well with our sectional. My husband set it up right after work and I took this photo before we even cleaned up the room properly. The top is easy to style, but what I like most is that the rounded edges make it easier to walk around, especially when the kids are running through here. The gold base also looks nicer in person than I expected — not too shiny, more of a soft brushed tone. Overall, it makes the room feel finished without feeling like a showroom.

  • A little dressier than our usual furniture

We put this in the guest room of our older house, and it made the room feel much less plain without having to redo everything else. The shell pattern is subtle in person, but it catches the lamp light in a really pretty way. The dark top is a bit deeper brown than it looked online, which actually works well with our old oak floors. One drawer was a little stiff the first few days, but it has loosened up since.
