Hiroshi Koshitaka envisioned the Senjyo Tilted Orb Chandelier as one of a number of fixtures he sees as fulfilling Saisei, a concept that encompasses the acts involved in regeneration and reproduction as we restore, revive, and experience regrowth and rebirth. Rattan is woven around a wrought iron frame in stripes that graduate from a khaki finish to Bluebonnet and Cornflower blue finishes. with this tan and blue pendant, Koshitaka stays true to exploring his fascination with the Color Field tradition of the 1940s, which has been a constant in his repertoire for decades. Adjustable from 60.75" to 149.75" with use of included chain/rod kit/cable. If your space calls for a longer drop, additional chain/rods/cable is available for purchase.

Saturday relaxed guest prep is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this chandelier fits the main room.

Our room felt different after the first holiday in the new house; adding this chandelier gave the space the lived-in feeling I wanted. My first impression was more cautious than my opinion after living with it for a while. Normal use has made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. The room needed a small adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light.

Thursday slow late snack is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this chandelier fits the main room. The room feels finished but still relaxed. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days.

THE REVIEWS

Testimonials

  • Warm color and super cozy shape

We put this sofa in our front living room and it instantly made the space feel more finished. The caramel brown color works really well with our wood floors and older rug. It’s soft but still supportive, and the rounded shape makes it feel more unique than a regular couch. This was just a quick phone photo, but the sofa looks very close to what we hoped for.

  • Finally found a table that doesn’t make our room feel crowded

We have a pretty small living room, so I was worried this table might feel too big, but the oval shape actually works really well with our sectional. My husband set it up right after work and I took this photo before we even cleaned up the room properly. The top is easy to style, but what I like most is that the rounded edges make it easier to walk around, especially when the kids are running through here. The gold base also looks nicer in person than I expected — not too shiny, more of a soft brushed tone. Overall, it makes the room feel finished without feeling like a showroom.

  • A little dressier than our usual furniture

We put this in the guest room of our older house, and it made the room feel much less plain without having to redo everything else. The shell pattern is subtle in person, but it catches the lamp light in a really pretty way. The dark top is a bit deeper brown than it looked online, which actually works well with our old oak floors. One drawer was a little stiff the first few days, but it has loosened up since.
